Want to have fun while earning $$$ for you band account??? We have a fundraising opportunity with Allison’s Fun, Inc. Allison’s puts on mostly large-scale events for corporate organizations. They hire groups such as ours to man the different booths at such events. Check out their web site for more info about the company, www.AllisonsFunInc.com. We have established our good and dependable reputation with Allison’s and they are asking us to help them staff the following event.
Event: AOL Employee Halloween Party
Date: Tuesday, October 31, 2006
Time: 3:00 pm till 9:00 pm (you must commit to the entire shift)
Location: Sheppard Mall, 2615 N Villa Ave, On NW 23rd & Villa (between Penn & May). Take I-35 North, when you get to the I-40 junction stay straight (in the middle) on I-235 N. Exit on NW 23rd and go left (West) past Penn. Sheppard Mall will be on your right.
They Provide: T-shirt, a meal, and lots to drink
You should bring: sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, refillable water container
Age Requirement: you must be 15 or older to work
Attire: You will receive an Allison’s t-shirt (to keep) every time you work an event for them. Shorts are OK, but must be of acceptable length (NO SHORT SHORTS, if in doubt, don’t wear them); you must wear tennis shoes or some kind of closed toe shoes (NO FLIP-FLOPS OR SANDALS).
What we’ll be doing: Allison’s sets up everything the day before the event. The first hour when we get there will be used to get our t-shirts, do any last minute set-up necessary, and receive any necessary instructions. We will be there to man the different events, whatever they may be (moonwalk, cotton candy machine, tilt-a-whirl ride, dunk tank, etc.). We will rotate events and work breaks within our group. From 8-9 pm we will be helping them break everything down and load it up, but even if they aren’t finished, we will be released at 9 pm.
Earnings: You will earn $6 an hour, this event is up to 6 hours, so you’ll earn up to $36 for your band account for each person who works for you!
