Moore High Bands
The Moore Band program has several facets, including an award-winning Marching Band, 3 Superior rated Concert Bands, and an Superior rated Jazz Ensemble.
Marching Band is made up of band students in the 9th through 12th grades. This ensemble performs at games, marches in several parades, and competes at several regional contests throughout the fall semester.
The Moore High School Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Clint Brown, is selected by audition and is comprised of band students in grades 9-12. This group has earned multiple Superior ratings at OSSAA State Contests, and been selected as an Honor Group for the Oklahoma Music Educators Association convention. This group performs concerts in December, April, and May, as well as competing in State and regional concert contests.
The Symphonic Band rehearses 1st hour under the direction of Mr. Seth Adams and is composed of 10-12 grade students. This band competes at OSSAA state contest as well as giving 3 concerts throughout the year.
The freshman band, under the direction of Mr. Clint Brown, is made up of all freshman band members and meets during 2nd hour during the 2nd semester. This ensemble performs at 3 concerts at the Fine Arts Auditorium as well as competing at State Contest.
