Our program fosters essential qualities like self-discipline, poise, self-confidence, a positive attitude, and collaborative teamwork. With a strong emphasis on performance, we explore a diverse range of pop music genres, including ballad, rock, Latin, swing, and improvisation. Admission to this program is highly competitive, with students selected from the High School Band membership. To be part of this exciting journey, students must maintain enrollment in the 1st-hour band class and successfully pass an audition.
Performance is at the heart of what we do in color guard, and we explore a wide range of artistic elements including choreography, flag work, dance, and more. Students selected for the Color Guard Program are chosen from our talented pool of participants and must remain enrolled in their designated band or marching band class.
